Seeing the person you love loving someone else…

Of course it will hurt. The first few days would mainly be hell and earth, then back again. It will cost you tremendous amounts of liquid flowing out of your eyes. The main statement in your head will be:

“Why?”

Then, it becomes second nature. Gradually, you become numb to the pain that it barely feels like it’s there anymore. But then, you start to doubt yourself. If you’re this numb to pain, how can you know if you’re not numb to love at all?

Because that’s the thinking, right?

Love is pain, and if you can’t feel pain, you can’t feel love.
